In a south-westerly direction is Valras Plage where you can bathe safely in the sea with your children, learn the basics of
sailing, or just relax and build up your tan.

The beaches are cleaned daily, so you can let your
children play and get covered in sand from head to toe.
The shoreline slopes gently into the sea, so your children
can paddle and splash about in the shallows in complete safety - four manned lifeguard posts ensure that the beach
is as safe as possible.

Stretching for many kilometres from Marseillan all the
way to Sete, just sandy unspoilt beach.

Most Wednesdays/Saturdays you
can visit the superb market in Vias.

They sell all variety of foodstuffs,
olives, meats, excellent cheese),
household items, and of course
a great selection of clothes

If you don't mind getting wet, then a day
trip to Aqualand at Cap d'Adge is essential. 

Instead you can just visit the mariner of
boats.  Again, Cap d'Agde has many small
shops cocktail bars and restaurants.

Next to it are some great mini golf
courses. This is situated on the
parc perimeter road, alongside
 the canal du Midi.

Grape Lovers
For the wine drinkers, there are so many
vineyards willing to give you a special wine tasting experience. The one most local is Domaine de St.Pierre but there's no short of choice.

Inland a little, at Marsellan Village, home
of the Noilly Prat vinery and a conducted tour is strongly recommended.
